PURE HONEYSUCKLE pays tribute to a flower that evokes fond childhood memories for Manos, founder of Manos Gerakinis Parfums, as well as for Muhip, founder of Nokta Cosmetics. Both men remember being mesmerised by the heady, ambrosial scent of the honeysuckle that was blooming every summer in the gardens of their grandmothers, as they were growing up in Greece and in Turkey, respectively.
Let yourself be carried away by this authentic olfactive interpretation of honeysuckle, combining white floral, fruity, and honeyed notes with an elegantly earthy—yet airy—base.

IOANNA TANIONOU
Greek-born senior perfumer Ioanna Tanionou combines her technical expertise in fragrance formulation with artistic sensitivity. She is a member of the British Society of Perfumers and her olfactive signature revolves around gourmand accords. Ioanna’s memories of assisting her mother in baking were a strong influence on her sense of smell and taste, ultimately impacting her perfume creation style. She studied Chemistry, and after acquiring a master’s degree in Analytical Methods, she decided to express her creativity in perfumery.
Ioanna is an avid art lover. She firmly believes that art is meant to create emotions and is intended to be shared. In that spirit, she believes that fragrances, like art, ought to evoke feelings, memories, and sensations. Described by her colleagues as a methodical creator, she is genuinely fascinated by fine fragrance development.
