Antonis Kastrinakis x Manos Gerakinis

Our newest artistic collaboration is with Greek sculptor and painter Antonis Kastrinakis, who created two sculptures inspired by the Manos Gerakinis fragrant universe.

Antonis Kastrinakis was born in Athens in 1958. He studied at the Vakalo School of Arts and graduated in 1981 with professors P. Tetsis, Ioannis Valavanidis, Vangelis Dimitreas, Eleni Vakalo and others. From 1987 until today he has held 19 solo exhibitions of painting and sculpture and has participated in many group exhibitions in Greece and abroad.Since 2004 he has been collaborating with the Benaki Museum.

In the heart of our bottle shape, he placed a symbol that could be perceived as either a wave or an eye. Capturing the eternal dance of the Aegean waves, the sculptures channel the elemental force of water, while warding off negativity with the timeless gaze of the “evil eye”—a homage to Greek nature and tradition.

This pair of sculptures by Antonis Kastrinakis are a part of our 10-year anniversary celebrations, and will be incorporated in our media campaign.
