“I started off writing this thinking I was going to conclude that it is the decadence of MEΘEXIS which encapsulates its beauty, but actually, the more I think about the scent, the more I think it is its thoughtfulness, its almost meditative quality that is the draw. MEΘEXIS has a decadent, rich, sumptuous side for sure, but behind that sits something deeper, something even more satisfying than the olfactory equivalent of stuffing your face with figs and honey.

Manos has done a good job with MEΘEXIS, not just for the rush of sweetness, but for the fact that it keeps me thinking, it keeps me engaged. In a disposable, fast-paced world, MEΘEXIS reminds me to slow down, pay attention and look beyond. For that alone, I have to conclude that this is very interesting and worthwhile perfumery.”
